Practice Areas Employment Retail, Food & Hospitality Litigation
Mary E. Windham focuses her practice on commercial litigation and employment law. She regularly handles cases involving shareholder rights and remedies, contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property, property law, and products liability claims.
With respect to her employment law practice, Ms. Windham has experience in discrimination and wrongful discharge cases for employers and negotiating severance agreements. She also offers counsel on preventative employment practices, including human resources policy development and is certified by the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination to offer workplace discrimination prevention training.
Ms. Windham’s clients have included national retail chains, as well as entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized businesses, and individuals. Prior to joining Ruberto Israel & Weiner, Ms. Windham was a litigation attorney at Rackemann, Sawyer & Brewster as well as Goodwin Procter, both located in Boston. Prior to practicing law Ms. Windham was an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Miami University at Oxford, OH.
