Maureen Mulligan is a shareholder of the firm. A trial lawyer, her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation and general business disputes in the areas of corporate and professional liability, banking and finance, insurance, technology and intellectual property issues. In addition, Ms. Mulligan acts as a mediator for commercial disputes. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and California.

Ms. Mulligan is a leader in the legal community. She is currently Co-Chair of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section’s Corporate Governance Institute; and is serving a three-year term on the governing council of the American Bar Association’s Tort Trial & Insurance Practice Section. Ms. Mulligan was recently appointed as co-chair of the Litigation Section of the Boston Bar Association, a two-year term which began in September 2007. From 2003-2005, she was Chair of the Professionals Officers and Directors’ Liability Committee of the American Bar Association and was the Committee’s lead author for two years for the survey “Recent Developments in the Law Affecting Professionals, Officers and Directors”, Tort & Insurance Law Practice Journal, Winter 2001 & 2002. From 1993-1995, she was a lecturer at Boston University School of Law where she taught legal research and writing.

Ms. Mulligan lectures frequently on business related topics (see Conferences and Seminars below). She is a graduate of Brown University and Boston College Law School.
