Lou Katz Presents 9th Annual Restaurant Trends Seminar
Lou Katz, along with Restaurant Trends co-founders Joseph M. Thibert at CAFCO Development Inc. and Charles M. Perkins of The Boston Restaurant Group, Inc. presented the 9th Annual Restaurant Trends seminar this month at the Four Seasons Hotel in Boston. The program featured participants for Restaurant Trends’ annual seminar on the state of the industry and was attended by well known area restauranteurs. Speakers included Bruce Potter, the Massachusetts Restaurant Association; Ed Sparks, The Lyons Group; Steve Silverstein, Not Your Average Joe’s; Annie B. Copps, Food Editor, Boston Magazine and Radio Host, “Table Talk;” and Julie Fox, Julie Fox Consulting. The first Restaurant Trends seminar was held in 1993 at The Bay Tower Room in Boston, Massachusetts. The popularity of the annual event has grown steadily since that time. The purpose of the Restaurant Trends seminars is to provide, for the restaurant community, a comprehensive program of substantive issues that will enhance the professionalism of the industry and provide meaningful information that will help restaurant owners and operators to open new restaurants with the best chance of success in a very competitive market.
