Overview

Kimberly A. Alley is a shareholder and member of the firm’s Litigation Department, Construction Law Group and Employment Law Group.  Kim has handled more than 150 trials before state and federal courts, including over 50 jury trials. She concentrates her practice on construction disputes, employment law issues, and general litigation matters. Kim is skilled in handling both the prosecution and defense of claims. In her practice, Kim successfully represents individuals and businesses in a broad array of litigation. Her representative matters include construction deficiencies, contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, wage violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, employment practices, and business disputes.

Kim is a leader within the legal community and regularly lectures on advocacy issues before the trial bar and other legal interest groups. She serves as an appointed member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section Counsel. Kim was a past co-chair of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys Women’s Caucus.

Kim is also active in her community. She serves as an Oak Meadow School Board Trustee and is a member and former chair of its Audit and Risk Management Committee. Kim is a long-standing mock trial coach and judge. She is a recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award for her mock trial work with the Discovering Justice Program. In 2016, Kim also co-founded the Women’s Professional Network which unites and promotes diversified professional women.

Kim is an avid runner and member of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team. She personally raised over $50,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in a single year with her Boston marathons. Her life-time goal is to complete marathons and half-marathons in all 50 states.
