Tell us about your career path.
My HR career began in state government, where I built a strong operational foundation in payroll, benefits, and recruiting. From there, I moved into broader HR leadership roles across education, financial services, and insurance, often serving as the primary HR partner responsible for everything from talent acquisition and employee relations to compliance, benefits, and HR operations.
Over time, my work has evolved from executing the day-to-day fundamentals of HR to serving as a strategic partner to leadership, helping organizations build thoughtful people practices, solve challenges, and create strong workplace cultures.
Tell us about your role.
As Human Resources Director, I oversee the firm’s human resources function, including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compensation, benefits, compliance, and employee development. My approach to HR is practical and relationship-driven, with a focus on understanding the business, building trust across the organization, and creating thoughtful people strategies that support both organizational goals and employee success.
What do you love most about what you do?
What I enjoy most about human resources is the opportunity to build strong relationships across an organization and help create an environment where employees feel supported, valued, and positioned to do their best work. I also appreciate the balance HR provides between strategic business partnership and people-focused problem solving- no two days are ever the same.
Why did you choose the firm?
I was drawn to the firm’s strong reputation, collaborative culture, and the opportunity to partner closely with leadership in a meaningful way. I’ve always enjoyed environments where relationships matter, there’s a genuine sense of connection, and HR can have a real impact on both the employee experience and the business.
Tell us a fun or surprising fact about you.
A fun fact about me is that I competed at a high level in gymnastics growing up, which taught me discipline, resilience, and drive.
What do you do in your free time?
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time with family and friends, reading, staying active, being near the water and taking on the occasional DIY home project.
