Overview

Kimberly A. Alley is a shareholder and member of the firm’s Litigation Department, Construction Law Group and Employment Law Group.  Kim has handled more than 150 trials before state and federal courts. She concentrates her practice on construction disputes, employment law issues, and general business litigation matters. Kim is skilled in handling both the prosecution and defense of claims for individuals and corporate clients. Her representative matters include construction deficiencies, contract disputes, mechanic’s liens, wage violations, wrongful termination, discrimination, sexual harassment, employment practices, and business disputes.

Kim is a leader within the legal community and regularly lectures on advocacy issues. She serves as an appointed member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Section Council. Kim was a past co-chair of the Massachusetts Academy of Trial Attorneys Women’s Caucus.

Kim is also active in her community. She is a long-standing mock trial coach and judge, and a recipient of the Thomas Jefferson Award for her mock trial work with the Discovering Justice Program. In 2016, Kim also co-founded the Women’s Professional Network which unites and promotes diversified professional women. Kim is a former Trustee of the Oak Meadow School Board and co-chaired its Audit and Risk Management Committee. 

Kim is an avid runner and Board member of the Dana-Farber Marathon Challenge team. She personally raised over $156,000 for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute since 2021 through her five consecutive Boston marathons. Her life-time goal is to complete marathons and half-marathons in all 50 states.
