Founded in 1969 by three Boston University Law School graduates, Ruberto, Israel & Weiner (RIW) was built on a clear vision: to create a collaborative, team-oriented law firm focused on meeting the unique and evolving needs of businesses across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. With distinct yet complementary practices in banking, corporate law, and litigation, the founders laid a strong foundation by leveraging the natural intersections of these disciplines.

As the firm’s footprint expanded beyond its Boston roots, its reputation for innovation and client-focused service spread across New England and to clients nationwide. In 2011, RIW made 255 State Street in Boston’s waterfront Financial District its home, a move that elevated the firm’s visibility in the city’s legal landscape and set the stage for continued growth and success.
